The name ‘Be in the KNOW’ and the Be in the KNOW logo are trademarks of Avert, registered in England under charity number 1074849 and company number 3716796. The Kenya Communications Hub logo is a trademark of Kenya Communications Hub. Nothing on this website means that you can use these trademarks or any other intellectual property rights of Avert, or use any intellectual property rights of any other person or organisation.

Use of the website and content copyright
Unless stated otherwise, the copyright and all other intellectual property rights in all content (text, images, graphics, videos etc.) on Be in the KNOW are owned by Kenya Communications Hub which reserves its rights in all such material.

Personal stories
When you submit a personal story, you grant Kenya Communications Hub the right to publish and copy it on any of our digital and offline products, and to edit it if the language is offensive, obscene, indecent or insensitive, or for any other legitimate editorial reason.
Your name and any other name mentioned in your personal story may be changed at the sole discretion of Kenya Communications Hub. We also reserve the right to not publish any personal story.
All personal story submissions are subject to our privacy policy. By submitting your personal story you confirm that:
- the story is yours and that you have the right to share it and to give us permission to use it
- all information contained in your story is accurate
- you are giving Kenya Communications Hub unlimited permission to publish all or any portion of it on Be in the KNOW (website and other related platforms, such as social media), and to edit it.
