Who created Be in the KNOW?

Be in the KNOW is owned by Avert – a non-profit organisation, using the power of digital communications to increase knowledge and understanding of HIV and sexual health, helping people to make informed choices and live healthily. Be in the KNOW is managed by Kenya Communications Hub, a narrative incubator changing the narrative and public discourse on HIV, and sexual and reproductive health.

All Be in the KNOW content is created by HIV and sexual health content specialists at Avert. It is also reviewed by expert and community reviewers; including topic experts, doctors and academics, people on the frontline of sexual health services and the HIV response, and those most affected by HIV. This means you get accurate and engaging sexual health content you can trust.

Be in the KNOW is funded by Avert with generous support from Gilead Sciences Inc, ViiV healthcare, and The Mercury Phoenix Trust.
